In general, the rainiest period is summer – from January to March. There are also many waterfalls that become even more beautiful when it rains.

We always recommend the best option based on your profile, so let us know if you’re traveling with kids or older adults.

In the homes of the locals — and that’s what makes this immersion even more special. Only 14 families live in the Valley, and staying with one of them means learning directly from those who call this place home. The exchanges are incredibly enriching: there you’ll discover the way of life of those who live inside Pati and meet people from all over Brazil and the world.

Easy: like the “Chapada de Boa” tour (easy trails, up to 6km per day);

Intermediate: like the “Quartzo” tour, with longer and more challenging trails;

Advanced: such as the 3- to 5-day “Vale do Pati” trek, “Chapada Insana” (10 days), and “Diamante” (10 days), with long trails (up to 18km/day), recommended for active people.

The main gateway is the town of Lençóis, which has a small airport with regular flights from Salvador (operated by Azul Airlines, usually on Fridays and Sundays). You can also get there by bus (such as Real Expresso) or by car from Salvador (around a 6-hour drive).

We are passionate about Chapada Diamantina. We live here, we breathe these trails, and we know every corner of this paradise. And that’s exactly what we want to share with you: a genuine, safe, and unforgettable experience.

1. We are specialists in Chapada

Founded by a native guide, we are deeply passionate about what we do. We study, explore, and live Chapada every single day — and with this depth of knowledge, we design our itineraries.

We believe that Brazil’s traditional communities hold tremendous power.

We take pride in valuing our team members and maintaining a close relationship with local communities. Every trip we organize directly contributes to the local economy and helps preserve both cultural and environmental heritage.

2. We guide with heart (and lots of expertise)

Our guides are highly experienced and trained in safety, geology, history, and first aid. But above all, they bring positive energy, joy, and love for what they do. They’ll take you to breathtaking places, create a family-like atmosphere within the group, and even help you capture those picture-perfect moments.

3. We offer authentic experiences

Want to spend the night in a local’s home in Vale do Pati? Taste a homemade meal cooked on a wood stove? Watch the sunset from a viewpoint only we know? With us, you truly live Chapada.

4.We have the perfect itinerary for you

If you’re looking for intensity and adventure, we offer trails like Chapada Insana or the Vale do Pati crossing. If you prefer a lighter, contemplative experience, we’ve created options like Quartzo, De Boa, or our favorite getaway, Respiro. And if you want to go further, we’ll also take you to Mount Roraima.

5. We take care of everything so you can relax

From planning to the last sunset, we are with you. Transportation, accommodations, meals, travel insurance, packing tips, and WhatsApp support: leave it all to us.

  • In Lençóis: inns with private suites and hot showers.
  • On the Vale do Pati trek: accommodation in the homes of local residents – basic but comfortable.
  • In cities like Ibicoara and Mucugê: charming and cozy inns.

You’ll be hiking with native, passionate guides from Chapada Diamantina. Our team is made up of experienced professionals trained in safety, geology, history, and first aid. But above all, they put their heart into what they do — bringing good energy, joy, and the kind of care that makes everyone feel like family.

Meals in the homes of local residents are a very special part of the trekking experience. Homemade dishes, freshly prepared with love, truly win our hearts. And the picnics prepared by our guides along the trails are just as delightful!

In the heart of Bahia lies a magical region, filled with valleys, mountains, waterfalls, caves, and breathtaking viewpoints. A place untouched by time and civilization, with no internet signal, where the only way to arrive is on foot or by mule.

The 14 family homes scattered across these mountains warmly welcome trekkers. They offer solar-powered accommodations, meals cooked on a traditional wood stove, and a truly unique cultural experience.

Trekking through Vale do Pati offers a deep immersion into yourself, into nature, and into ecological awareness. You won’t return the same…
