How does food work during the tours?

During the Vale do Pati trek, meals are included and prepared in the homes of locals. For other tours, breakfast is usually included, but lunch/dinner is at the traveler’s expense, with local restaurants as options.

What is the difficulty level of the hikes?

Easy: like the “Chapada de Boa” tour (easy trails, up to 6km per day); Intermediate: like the “Quartzo” tour, with longer and more challenging trails; Advanced: such as the 3- to 5-day “Vale do Pati” trek, “Chapada Insana” (10 days), and “Diamante” (10 days), with long trails (up to 18km/day), recommended for active people.

How to get to Chapada Diamantina?

The main gateway is the town of Lençóis, which has a small airport with regular flights from Salvador (operated by Azul Airlines, usually on Fridays and Sundays). You can also get there by bus (such as Real Expresso) or by car from Salvador (around a 6-hour drive).
